Doris is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, admitted in March 2025, with over three years’ dedicated experience in residential conveyancing and property law. She advises on a broad range of property transactions, acting for both individuals and lenders in freehold and leasehold matters, including purchases and sales (including probate sales), and is experienced in managing files from instruction through to completion and post-completion formalities.
Her expertise includes handling sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages, as well as preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer documentation, and title reports. Doris is particularly adept at navigating complex title issues, including the removal of and compliance with restrictions on title, and ensuring that all Land Registry requirements are met with precision and efficiency.
She regularly deals with post-completion matters, including applications to HM Land Registry and SDLT submissions. Her practice also involves advising clients on gifted equity arrangements and lender requirements, ensuring that transactions proceed smoothly and in accordance with regulatory and lender-specific obligations.
Doris successfully contributed to the Property team at Adam Bernard Solicitors’ successful SRA audit in February 2026, where the firm exceeded compliance expectations, reflecting her strong commitment to regulatory excellence and attention to detail.
In addition, Doris has experience in the preparation and handling of supporting legal documentation, including ID1 forms and statutory declarations, and is familiar with execution requirements, including properly witnessing documents and acting as a Commissioner for Oaths.
