Adam Bernard is an international legal services provider operating through a network of affiliated professional practices and constituent legal entities (hereinafter referred to as the “Member Firms”), each of which is a legally distinct and independently regulated entity operating under the Adam Bernard brand.  

Adam Bernard delivers legal, regulatory, transactional, and advisory services globally through its Member Firms and associated entities, including Adam Bernard Solicitors (England and Wales) and Adam Bernard Attorneys (Texas, United States). The use of the term “Adam Bernard” or “the Firm” throughout this site or in any official documentation is for descriptive convenience only and shall not be construed as denoting a unified or singular legal entity or partnership.  

Each Member Firm is independently constituted in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements of its jurisdiction of establishment. The Member Firms are not in a general partnership or limited liability partnership (LLP), and no such firm is authorised to bind or assume obligations on behalf of any other Member Firm or entity within the Adam Bernard network.  

The provision of legal or ancillary professional services to clients is exclusively governed by the terms set out in the relevant engagement letter or retainer agreement between the specific Member Firm and the client. Liability for the delivery of legal services is strictly confined to the contracting Member Firm, and no reciprocal responsibility is assumed or implied between Member Firms unless expressly agreed in writing by the parties concerned.  

The term “partner”, “principal”, or “director” as used in reference to any individual within a Member Firm denotes a person holding a position of authority or ownership status within that specific firm, and does not imply partnership between the Member Firms themselves. Similarly, any reference to an “office” shall be interpreted as the office of a Member Firm or formally affiliated entity within the Adam Bernard network, and not of Adam Bernard as a unitary legal practice.  

For the avoidance of doubt, each Member Firm acts solely on its own behalf and is responsible solely for its own acts and omissions. No Member Firm has any actual, apparent, implied, or ostensible authority to represent, bind, or otherwise obligate any other Member Firm within the Adam Bernard structure unless explicitly authorised by a written inter-firm agreement.  

Clients are strongly advised to refer to the terms of their engagement documentation to ascertain the precise legal entity with which they are contracting. All engagements, instructions, and fee arrangements shall be deemed to be with the identified Member Firm specified in the client care letter or retainer, and not with any other firm or affiliate unless expressly stated.  

Jurisdiction-specific legal disclosures, regulatory information, and firm registration details for each Member Firm operating under the Adam Bernard name are available upon request or as required by local legal obligations.
